T-Mobile preinstalled apps

Phones sold through T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile carry the carrier's apps for account management, visual voicemail, call screening, device setup and app recommendations. Some of them run features of your plan; others you will never open. This hub lists the T-Mobile packages documented here and what turning each one off does.

How to disable an app on a T-Mobile phone

Settings > Apps > (app) > Disable or Uninstall; the exact wording follows the phone's maker

ADB notes

T-Mobile's apps are installed as system apps on the phones it sells, so some only go with ADB and a few return after a carrier settings update. Unlocked phones bought from the maker carry fewer of them.

New to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
