Device Manager
T-Mobile's background agent that checks which apps are installed and pushes app suggestions, updates and notices.
T-Mobile package
The T-Mobile setup tool, made by ironSource, that offers a list of apps to install after you set up the phone. It is safe to disable: you lose nothing most people will miss.
AppSelector runs shortly after first setup on most T-Mobile and Metro Android phones. It asks a few questions, then offers recommended apps to install from a list; the apps you pick download from Google Play. ironSource, now part of Unity, builds it for T-Mobile. After setup it stays in the app list and can prompt again after a factory reset.
No more app recommendation prompts. Apps you already installed through it stay installed and keep updating through Google Play.
Settings offers Disable for this package on most phones. Open Settings > Apps > AppSelector > Disable or Uninstall; the exact wording follows the phone's maker.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.ironsrc.aura.tmoTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.ironsrc.aura.tmoThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.ironsrc.aura.tmoRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.ironsrc.aura.tmoNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
Records which apps you pick and how you respond to its prompts; T-Mobile says AppManager usage data is shared with Unity.
