T-Mobile's former account app for bills, payments and plan changes; T-Mobile has moved these into T-Life. It is safe to disable: you lose nothing most people will miss.
What it does
The T-Mobile app, earlier called My T-Mobile, was T-Mobile's account app for paying bills, checking usage, changing plans and reaching support, and it came preinstalled on T-Mobile phones. T-Mobile has since brought its apps together in a single one, T-Life, and the old app's Play listing is gone. Phones set up before the change can still carry it.

If you disable it
The old account app goes away. Use T-Life or t-mobile.com to manage the account.
How to disable it
Settings offers Disable for this package on most phones. Open Settings > Apps > T-Mobile > Disable or Uninstall; the exact wording follows the phone's maker.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.tmobile.pr.mytmobileTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.tmobile.pr.mytmobileThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.tmobile.pr.mytmobileRestore after an uninstall
