Samsung's Device Quality Agent, a background logger that reports device and connection quality data to Samsung.
Samsung package
Samsung's diagnostic monitoring agent that collects error and usage logs and sends them when you allow it. You can disable it, with a caveat: read what stops working first.
DiagMonAgent gathers diagnostic information, such as crash and error logs, from Samsung apps and system components and sends it to Samsung when the Send diagnostic data setting is on. Samsung apps also use it when you submit an error report. It runs in the background on a schedule and when an error occurs.
Also shown as Diagnostic monitoring agent.
Samsung stops receiving diagnostic reports. Community testers report that on some versions disabling it makes the system retry it constantly, which can heat the phone and drain the battery, so turning off Send diagnostic data is the better first step.
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.sec.android.diagmonagentTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.sec.android.diagmonagentThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.sec.android.diagmonagentRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.sec.android.diagmonagentNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
