Galaxy Wearable
Samsung's companion app for setting up and managing Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds from a phone.
Samsung package
Samsung's fitness and health app for steps, workouts, sleep and data from a Galaxy Watch or Ring. It is safe to disable: you lose nothing most people will miss.
Samsung Health tracks steps, exercise, sleep, heart rate and other measurements from the phone and from Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring, and can share data with other apps through Health Connect. Samsung publishes it on the Play Store and Galaxy Store and installs it as an ordinary app on newer phones. It counts steps in the background when step tracking is on.
Health tracking on the phone stops and a connected Galaxy Watch or Ring can no longer sync health data. Back up your data first if you want to keep it.
Settings offers Disable for this package on most phones. Open Settings > Apps > Samsung Health > Disable.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.sec.android.app.shealthTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.sec.android.app.shealthThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.sec.android.app.shealthRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.sec.android.app.shealthNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
Stores health data on the phone and, if you allow it, backs it up to Samsung's servers under your Samsung account.
