What it does

OnePlus Health pairs a OnePlus Band or the first OnePlus Watch with the phone. It shows the activity, heart-rate, sleep and workout records the wearable collects, and forwards the phone's notifications and incoming-call alerts to the wrist. Newer OnePlus watches use the OHealth app instead. It works in the background only while a wearable is paired, to keep the two in step.

If you disable it

A paired OnePlus Band or Watch stops syncing and stops showing phone notifications. Nothing else on the phone uses it.

How to disable it

Settings offers Disable for this package on most phones. Open Settings > Apps > App management > OnePlus Health > Disable.

adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.oneplus.health.international

adb shell pm enable com.oneplus.health.international

The stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.

Data and battery

Keeps the activity, heart-rate and sleep records from your wearable, reads notifications and call details to show them on it, and syncs to your OnePlus account when you sign in.
