Xiaomi's Security app, the hub for app scans, cleanup, app lock, permissions, battery screens and Game Turbo on MIUI and HyperOS.
Xiaomi package
A hidden plugin for Xiaomi's Security app that community testers link to boot loops when it is removed on older MIUI builds. Do not remove it: disabling or uninstalling it can leave the phone unusable.
System service plugin is a background add-on that ships beside Xiaomi's Security app on MIUI and HyperOS phones. Community debloat lists tie it to the Security app's features and report that removing it sent phones on MIUI 12 and earlier into a boot loop, while results on later builds vary by device. It has no screen of its own and runs as part of the system.
On MIUI 12 and older, removal has caused boot loops. On newer builds the outcome depends on the device, and nothing is gained by removing it.
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
