What it does
com.miui.cleanmaster is the name Xiaomi's Cleaner used on older MIUI builds. It scans storage for app caches, leftover files and large files, then offers to delete them, and it is opened from the Security app or the file manager. Community lists say its cleaning engine came from Cheetah Mobile. Newer MIUI and HyperOS phones ship the same tool as com.miui.cleaner.
If you disable it
The Cleaner button and its cleanup suggestions stop working. Android's own storage settings still let you clear app caches and see what uses space.
How to disable it
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.miui.cleanmasterTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.miui.cleanmasterThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
