Google package
Google's safety app with Emergency SOS, Safety Check timers, emergency location sharing and crisis alerts. You can disable it, with a caveat: read what stops working first.
Personal Safety is Google's emergency app, shown simply as Safety on many phones. It runs Emergency SOS, which can call emergency services, send your location to the people you picked and record video when you press the power button five or more times, as well as Safety Check timers, emergency location sharing and alerts about nearby crises. It also keeps the medical details and emergency contact list you enter.
Also shown as Safety.
Emergency SOS actions, Safety Check, emergency sharing and crisis alerts stop working. Ordinary emergency calls from the phone app still work.
Settings offers Disable for this package on most phones. Open Settings > Apps > See all apps > Personal Safety > Disable.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.google.android.apps.safetyhubTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.google.android.apps.safetyhubThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.safetyhubRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.google.android.apps.safetyhubNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
