Android (AOSP) package
The Android screen for medical details and emergency contacts that others can see from the lock screen. You can disable it, with a caveat: read what stops working first.
Emergency information is the Android app where you can enter medical details such as allergies, medications and blood type, plus emergency contacts, so others can view them from the lock screen's emergency dialer. Pixels move this into Google's Personal Safety app, while other phones may keep this package or a maker's own version. It runs only when the information is opened.
The medical and emergency contact details you entered are no longer reachable from the lock screen; emergency calls still work.
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.android.emergencyTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.android.emergencyThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.emergencyRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.android.emergencyNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
Stores the medical and contact details you enter on the device, where they can be read from the lock screen without unlocking.
