What it does
VzwApiService is part of the Verizon edition of Samsung's software. Samsung signs it, it has no icon, and it has been seen only on Galaxy phones built for Verizon. Neither company has described it; its name points to an interface that Verizon's preloaded apps use to reach device functions an ordinary app cannot.
If you disable it
Not documented. Verizon's own apps on the phone may lose features that depend on it; if something Verizon-related stops working after you disable it, turn it back on.
How to disable it
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.samsung.vzwapiserviceTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.samsung.vzwapiserviceThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
