Samsung package
The default on-screen keyboard on Galaxy phones, with predictive text, emoji, stickers and handwriting. You can disable it, with a caveat: read what stops working first.
Samsung Keyboard is the keyboard Galaxy phones use out of the box. It provides typing in many languages, predictive text and autocorrect, emoji and stickers, a clipboard, and handwriting on S Pen models, and it is also the keyboard available before you unlock the phone after a restart. Samsung updates it through the Galaxy Store. It runs whenever a text field is active.
Also shown as Honey Board.
If no other keyboard is installed and set as default, you have nothing to type with, including an alphanumeric screen-lock password after a restart. Install and switch to another keyboard such as Gboard before disabling it.
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.

adb shell pm enable com.samsung.android.honeyboardThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
