OPPO package
OPPO's usage statistics service behind the User Experience Program on OnePlus and OPPO phones. You can disable it, with a caveat: read what stops working first.
Basic Data Services collects statistics on how you use the phone's features and sends them to the maker when you join the User Experience Program, which OPPO describes as optional and offered during setup. Community lists report it starts at boot and stays in the background. It is listed as com.oplus.statistics.rom; there is no plain com.oplus.statistics package.
Also shown as User Experience Program.
Usage statistics stop. Community lists note that removing the older com.nearme version broke Settings search on some ColorOS builds, so check search after disabling it.
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.oplus.statistics.romTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.oplus.statistics.romThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.oplus.statistics.romRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.oplus.statistics.romNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
If you join the User Experience Program, OPPO collects data on your use of its features plus limited data on third-party apps that interact with them; you can leave the program in privacy settings.
