OPPO package
OPPO's open capability service, which lets approved apps tap ColorOS features such as camera and system abilities. You can disable it, with a caveat: read what stops working first.
OpenCapabilityService is a ColorOS and OxygenOS component that exposes some of OPPO's own system features to approved third-party apps through an SDK. Community lists flag it because it hands out a device identifier used in China's app ecosystem. It runs when an app requests one of these capabilities.
Apps that rely on OPPO's capability SDK may lose those extras, such as enhanced camera modes inside third-party apps. Most people notice nothing.
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.oplus.ocsTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.oplus.ocsThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.oplus.ocsRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.oplus.ocsNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
Community lists report it provides a device identifier to apps that request it; OPPO has not documented it in English.
