An OPPO logging component that records system traces for the feedback toolkit on ColorOS and OxygenOS. It is safe to disable: you lose nothing most people will miss.

What it does

OneTrace is a background logging component that records system traces, which OPPO's feedback tools can attach to bug reports. Community lists describe it as aimed at the Chinese builds, though it also appears on global OnePlus and OPPO phones. It has no screen and runs when tracing is triggered.

If you disable it

Bug reports may carry less detail. Nothing you use day to day changes.

How to disable it

On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.

Disable it (reversible)

adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.oplus.onetrace

Turn it back on

adb shell pm enable com.oplus.onetrace

The stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.

Uninstall for the main user

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.oplus.onetrace

Restore after an uninstall

adb shell cmd package install-existing com.oplus.onetrace

New to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.

Data and battery

Records system activity traces on the phone for diagnostics; they leave the phone only inside a report you send.
