This is the Netflix app for streaming films and series with a subscription. Samsung has preinstalled it on many Galaxy phones, and Samsung's own application lists include it. It is published on the Play Store and runs only while you watch or download.
Nothing beyond the app itself.
Settings offers Disable for this package on most phones. Open Settings > Apps > Netflix > Disable.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.netflix.mediaclientTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.netflix.mediaclientThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.netflix.mediaclientRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.netflix.mediaclientNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
