Smart Connect, formerly Ready For, which links a Moto phone with PCs, tablets and TVs for streaming, sharing and desktop mode. It is safe to disable: you lose nothing most people will miss.
Smart Connect, the renamed Ready For, connects a Moto phone with a PC, Lenovo tablet or TV: it streams apps and media to a bigger screen, shares files and the clipboard across devices, offers cross-device search and turns the phone into a desktop-style workspace. Motorola lists it among the apps preloaded on its phones. It runs while connected and keeps a background service for discovery.
