OnePlus documents choosing Shelf as the swipe-down action on the home screen. It replaced the older OnePlus Shelf app and refreshes its cards in the background.
The Shelf panel goes away. Community lists note that on ColorOS 16 and OxygenOS 16 some third-party cards that only live in Shelf go with it.
