Samsung package
Samsung's camera magnifier that turns the phone into a magnifying glass for small print and labels. It is safe to disable: you lose nothing most people will miss.
Magnifier uses the rear camera as a magnifying glass, with zoom, flash and contrast filters, for reading small print or labels. You turn it on under Accessibility, in the vision settings, and it can be added as a shortcut. It runs only while open.
The camera magnifier shortcut and widget stop working. The screen magnification gesture in Accessibility is separate.
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.sec.android.app.magnifierTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.sec.android.app.magnifierThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.sec.android.app.magnifierRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.sec.android.app.magnifierNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
