What it does
Wallpapers provides the picker under Settings > Wallpapers & style, with the maker's static and interactive live wallpapers and the option to use your own photos on the home and lock screens. OnePlus documents it in its user manual. It runs while you choose a wallpaper and while a live wallpaper is showing.
If you disable it
You cannot change wallpapers from Settings and the built-in live wallpapers stop. Community lists describe it as needed for wallpapers, so expect a plain background.
How to disable it
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.oplus.wallpapersTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.oplus.wallpapersThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.oplus.wallpapersRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.oplus.wallpapersNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
Data and battery
Reads the photos you pick as wallpapers; nothing else.
