Motorola package
The Moto app, Motorola's hub for gestures, display options, Personalize, Moto Secure, Gametime and tips. You can disable it, with a caveat: read what stops working first.
Moto is the app where Motorola groups its own features: Personalize, Gestures, Moto Secure, tips and demos, lock screen display options and Attentive display, and the Play section with Gametime and Dolby Atmos. Each feature can be turned on or off there. Community lists note that gestures set up earlier keep working through Moto Actions even without this hub. It runs when opened.
Also shown as Moto app.
You lose the easiest way to switch Motorola features on and off, and some settings may become unreachable. Features already turned on generally keep working.
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.motorola.motoTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.motorola.motoThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.motorola.motoRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.motorola.motoNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
Nothing beyond your feature settings; it shows tips about the phone.
