What it does

App Market is the app store HeyTap, OPPO's internet services arm, preinstalls on OPPO phones in many regions. You can browse, install and update apps from it, and it shows recommendations and promotions. HeyTap's privacy notice lists App Market among the services tied to a HeyTap account and says it may prioritize products that may interest you. It checks for updates and promotions in the background.

If you disable it

App Market and its update and promotion notifications go away. Google Play keeps working for all your apps.

How to disable it

On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.

adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.heytap.market

adb shell pm enable com.heytap.market

The stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.heytap.market

adb shell cmd package install-existing com.heytap.market

HeyTap's privacy notice covers its account data, installed-app list and use of personal data for personalized recommendations.

Checks for app updates and promotions in the background; disabling it stops that.
