What it does
Internet is the web browser HeyTap preinstalls on OPPO phones and some OnePlus models. Besides browsing it shows a news feed, downloads files, scans QR codes and offers file cleanup, and community lists complain about its promotional notifications. It runs when you browse and refreshes its feed and notifications in the background.

Links open in your other browser. Set a different default browser first so links do not ask every time.
How to disable it
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.heytap.browserTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.heytap.browserThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.heytap.browserRestore after an uninstall
