Google package
The background sync adapter that keeps calendar events on the phone matched with Google Calendar. You can disable it, with a caveat: read what stops working first.
Google Calendar Sync copies events between Google Calendar and Android's calendar storage on the phone, so any calendar app can show your Google events. It runs in the background when events change or Android schedules a sync, and its switch is the Calendar toggle in your Google Account's sync settings. It has no icon of its own.
Events stop syncing between the phone and Google Calendar, so calendar apps on the phone no longer see changes made elsewhere.
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.google.android.syncadapters.calendarTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.google.android.syncadapters.calendarThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.syncadapters.calendarRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.google.android.syncadapters.calendarNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
