Mi Coin

Xiaomi's payment component for Mi Coin and purchases inside Xiaomi services such as themes and games. It is safe to disable: you lose nothing most people will miss.

What it does

On current global phones this package shows up as Mi Coin, the payment component behind purchases in Xiaomi's own services, such as paid themes and in-game items bought through Xiaomi. Xiaomi says Mi Coin is bought through your Mi Account and spent on its virtual products. On older Indian builds the same package name carried the Mi Credit loan app. It runs only when a Xiaomi service starts a payment.

If you disable it

You cannot buy or spend Mi Coin or pay for content inside Xiaomi's own services. Google Play purchases are not affected.

How to disable it

On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.

adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.xiaomi.payment

adb shell pm enable com.xiaomi.payment

The stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.

adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.xiaomi.payment

adb shell cmd package install-existing com.xiaomi.payment
