Game Booster
The in-game toolbar on Galaxy phones that blocks alerts, records gameplay and switches performance modes while you play.
Samsung package
Samsung's game library app, formerly Game Launcher, that groups your games and opens Game Booster during play. It is safe to disable: you lose nothing most people will miss.
Gaming Hub, called Game Launcher before One UI 7, is the Samsung app that collects the games on your phone in one place, shows recommendations and stores per-game settings such as muting game sound. It also tells the phone which apps are games, which is how Game Booster knows when to show its in-game toolbar. Samsung preinstalls it on Galaxy phones and updates it through the Galaxy Store. It runs when you open it and briefly when a game starts.
Also shown as Game Launcher.
The game library and its recommendations disappear, and Game Booster may no longer appear during games because the phone stops tagging apps as games.
Settings offers Disable for this package on most phones. Open Settings > Apps > Gaming Hub > Disable.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.samsung.android.game.gamehomeTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.samsung.android.game.gamehomeThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.samsung.android.game.gamehomeRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.samsung.android.game.gamehomeNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
Reads the list of installed games and how long you play them; recommendations come from Samsung's servers.
