AR Zone
A Samsung launcher for the camera's augmented reality extras, such as avatars, doodles and decorated photos.
Samsung package
Samsung's augmented reality drawing app that lets you draw in the air or on faces through the camera. It is safe to disable: you lose nothing most people will miss.
AR Doodle lets you draw lines and shapes that stay anchored in the camera view, on surfaces around you or on a face. It was part of AR Zone on older Galaxy phones. Samsung says that from One UI 7 it is a separate download from the Galaxy Store. It runs only while open and asks for location access while in use.
AR Doodle disappears from AR Zone and the camera.
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.samsung.android.ardrawingTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.samsung.android.ardrawingThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.samsung.android.ardrawingRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.samsung.android.ardrawingNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
Uses the camera and, while open, location; doodles are saved as videos or photos on the phone.
