Google package
Google's eSIM manager that downloads, switches and removes carrier eSIM profiles on phones with an embedded SIM. Keep it: SIM Manager is needed for the phone, its updates or its security.
SIM Manager is Google's eSIM software for Android. On phones with an embedded SIM it downloads carrier profiles, lets you switch between them and deletes them, which replaces swapping physical SIM cards. Android passes eSIM requests from Settings and carrier apps to it through the platform's eSIM interface. Google ships it on select devices and updates it through the Play Store.
Also shown as eSIM Manager, eUICC.
You can no longer add, switch or delete eSIM profiles, and on phones that depend on eSIM, such as models without a SIM tray, mobile service setup can fail. Physical SIM cards are not affected.
On most phones Settings greys out Disable for this package, so ADB is the way to turn it off. The commands below work without root and can be undone.
Disable it (reversible)
adb shell pm disable-user --user 0 com.google.android.euiccTurn it back on
adb shell pm enable com.google.android.euiccThe stronger option removes it for your user only; the original copy stays on the phone and a factory reset brings it back. Prefer disabling: it is easier to undo.
Uninstall for the main user
adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.euiccRestore after an uninstall
adb shell cmd package install-existing com.google.android.euiccNew to ADB? Set it up in about ten minutes.
Handles eSIM profiles and the device's eUICC identifier, which it exchanges with carrier servers when you download a profile.
